Emily Mathews

As a more recent devoted follower of Christ, Emily has found pure joy in serving. Through various experiences and encounters, Emily’s relationship with God grew deeper. Emily and her husband prayed continuously for guidance as they would make some significant life changes to make sure to always put God at the center of their lives. In October 2023 Emily was led to FBC as the new Administrative Assistant.

Emily resides in Carterville with her husband, Andy, and their three children, Harper, Payton, and Asher. Together they enjoy sports, serving others, and spending quality time making meals while listening to their favorite worship songs. They are excited to all continue and grow in their faith and love for God and others as a family.
